NSF International, Ann Arbor, MI, has acquired Quality Assurance International (QAI), San Diego, CA, which fo­cuses its efforts on organic certification. Together, NSF and QAI will work to provide independent, third party certification programs and quality services that help protect the safety of food and consumer products.
